Summer events: Model Search, Komike, Photo shoot!!

Hello!!!

Oh, no..August is over….
Did you have fun in summer?

It has been a very busy summer for me!! I have been to so many events and done so many activities!! I am sooo busy these days – I even had to apologize for not writing on my blog in Japan for a while. But I am back and I am happy to be writing for US and Japan now!!

Here are a few pictures of some recent events that I went to this summer. Some were in Japan but I went to a very special event In America in July too!! Enjoy!!


July 19: The Mid-Atlantic Cover Model Search For UjENA Swim wear in USA
TenBu called me in early July asking if I was available to come to the US. I thought it was for an Anime convention but they said no, it was different- Hmmm, what could it be?!

I was going to be a Celebrity Judge for a swim suit contest!! EEEEEEEE!!!

I was very Happy to come to the US but very nervous about the contest. I have judged Cosplay contests in America but this is the first time to judge a swimsuit contest!! >0<
But I like challenges so I said yes!!
I also went because the event was helping Susan Koman for the Cure Maryland! They are a nonprofit group that helps fight Brest Cancer!

As a bonus I also got to meet and hang out with the other celebrity Judge NATE QUARRY, a top fighter from the UFC!

THe event was exciting and I met so many people and had a lot of fun. I hope I can come back next year. If I do, please come and see me!

August 15-17: KOMIKE
Do you know “Komike”? It is a big anime-manga event in Japan.

I was there as a reporter and worked with Mantan-Web on the first and the second day.
I was supposed to be there on the third day, too. But I was so exhausted and decided not to go.

It was a cool day on the third day, so I guess that attendees felt good. But it rained very hard so people who stood in the line to get in may have gotten wet. I am a bit surprised about the weather since we have a
Komike-myth; “it is always sunny on the third say of Komike.”

Mmmm…I worked very hard at Komike and felt very content… !!!

August 23: Fan Photo Shoot
Here are pics from a Fan photo shooting event I did on August 23!!

In Japan Studios set up events for fans to take pictures of popular models and cosplay idols. This time I was chosen.
I had a lot of Fans come to see me and take pictures. Thank you all for coming to the event!

I wore a lot of costumes… And ate allot of food.
Look at this lunch. Yummy!!

I love this event since I can interact with my fans. There will be another photo event soon, so please come see me.


Weeeell...
I just came home and I am soaking wet… It was raining so hard outside and I walked in the rain….the water was as high as my ankle….
I never had this much rain in my life….The street is like a swimming pool…..

I hear there is a Hurricane coming to America… Please be careful and be safe.
